 A magnetic card – manufactured from plastic,
dimensions: 85 x 54 mm, with rounded corners. Printed on Mimaki UJF-706 UV printing press, double sided, CMYK colours, 4 or 8 passes of the head.
The card's data carrier is a magnetic stripe, which offers the possibility of data saving in one, two or three tracks
(track 1 – alphanumeric, 76 characters; track 2 – numeric, 37 characters; track 3 – numeric, 105 characters).
Data are read by swiping the card in a card reader that responds to magnetic field changes. Before you choose a magnetic card,
you should know which type of card your card reader supports. Cards in our offer are equipped with a HICO magnetic stripe with a high coercivity
coefficient of the stripe, which significantly minimises the risk of demagnetising. Physical properties such as dimensions, pliability,
localisation of the magnetic stripe and its magnetic properties are defined by ISO norms: ISO 7810, ISO 7811, ISO 7812, ISO 7813 and ISO 4909.
Magnetic cards are generally used as pay cards, ID badges, access cards or loyalty cards, etc. |
