Preparing File
Designs for die-cutting (cutting and scoring lines) must fit within a rectangle of 300x470 mm. Bleeds may extend beyond this area. Two or three files should be prepared (or one multi-page file) if UV varnish, Liquid Gold, or Silver finishing is involved. The preparation of files for printing and finishing is described in the „color printing” tab [See how to prepare](http://index.html?przygotowanie=1&grupa[]=K_x1000)**Cutting file (for die creation)**Usage format: The usage dimensions are defined by the cutting line.Design format: The design must contain two aligned files, one file with graphics enlarged by the required bleed and another containing the cutting/scoring lines. The client prepares the design for single use.**Bleed**This is the area of the design that extends beyond the cutting/scoring line. The bleed should be 2 mm on each side.**Single use**The usage can have any shape.Essential objects should not be located less than 3 mm from the planned cutting line;Frames, borders, etc. should not be designed close to the cutting line (min. 5 mm). Due to cutting tolerances, the uses will appear unsightly.**Template for die creation**The cutting and scoring lines (template) must be aligned with the graphic design and saved in a separate file.Design the cutting lines in fine red. Scoring lines in yellow. The minimum distance between cutting or scoring lines is 4 mm.The cutting/scoring line of a single use should, if possible, be created from a single closed curve. The cutting and scoring lines in the design cannot overlap and must not coincide.Elements cut in use cannot be very small and very complex. If the complexity of the curve prevents the creation of the die, we reserve the right to reject the implementation of such a project.Print and cutting edge registration may vary by +/- 1.5 mm.**Saving to file**The design must be saved in vector format - we prefer pdf or cdr.We recommend using descriptive elements in file (or page) names such as „print", „finishing", „die-cutting".
