Die-cut products are the perfect choice for companies looking for functional and aesthetic solutions. 

If the die-cut products in our offer Boxes / packaging or Ready-made designs do not include the desired product, we can make it on request, tailored to individual needs. We execute even the most complex die-cut projects both in flat form (tags, wobblers, postcards, folders, leaflets in any shapes, etc.) and spatial form (boxes, pyramids, Christmas trees, stands, etc.). All these products can be made using plotter cutting technology (for lower volumes in the color printing calculator) or die-cutting (for higher volumes), which allows for precise and efficient creation of even the most complex shapes.

Available Paper Weights

The selection of paper weights for our products has been carefully considered and supported by tests to ensure their optimal quality and functionality. For new projects, we assist in choosing the appropriate weight so that the final product meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. Before ordering the die, we verify whether the selected material will be suitable for the specific project.

Recommendations/Notes

  • We recommend laminating creased prints due to the possibility of cracking at the creases. Lamination minimizes the risk of cracking at creases - especially recommended for creased/folded products printed on coated papers.
  • Boxes, packaging, and spatial products are delivered flat. For boxes requiring gluing, they are delivered pre-taped with adhesive tape.

How to prepare a file for die-cutting - Your project

Project size

Projects for die-cutting (cutting lines, creasing) must fit within a rectangle of 300x470 mm. 

Prepare the print project in the size of the ordered use +2mm bleed on each side. Bleeds may extend beyond the die-cutting area.

File for cutting (die creation)

Use format: The size of the use is determined by the cutting line.

Project format: The project must contain two aligned files, one file with the graphic enlarged by the required bleed and the other containing the cutting/creasing lines. The client prepares the project for a single use.

Single use

  • The use can have any shape.
  • Important objects should not be located closer than 3 mm from the planned cutting line;
  • Do not design frames, borders, etc. close to the cutting line (min. 5 mm). Due to cutting tolerance, the uses will be unsightly.

Template for die creation

  • Cutting and creasing lines (template) should be aligned with the graphic project and saved in a separate file.
  • Design cutting lines as thin red lines. Creasing lines yellow.
  • The minimum distance between cutting or creasing lines is 4 mm
  • The cutting/creasing line of a single use, if possible, should be created from one closed curve.
  • Cutting and creasing lines in the project cannot be duplicated and cannot overlap.
  • Elements cut in the use cannot be very small and very complex. If it turns out that the complexity of the curve makes die creation impossible, we reserve the right to reject the execution of such a project.

Print and cutting edge alignment may vary by +/- 1.5mm.
