Technical Parameters of Prints on Mass-Colored Cardboards

Available Technologies

  1. White Only:
    • Available for standard and exclusive cardboards.
    • Precise white printing ensures contrast and clarity.
  2. White + CMYK:
    • Exclusive to exclusive cardboards.
    • Ability to achieve intense colors from the CMYK palette. However, note that the shade may differ from printing on white paper.
  3. Liquid GOLD/SILVER:
    • Available for standard and exclusive cardboards.
    • An alternative to Hot Stamping with an impressive gloss.
    • Requires double-sided lamination.
  4. Selective UV Varnish:
    • Possible on standard and exclusive cardboards.
    • Adds gloss to selected design elements.
    • Mandatory double-sided lamination.

Available Cardboards

  1. Standard Cardboards (Sirio Color 290 g/m²):
    • Maximum sheet size: 330 mm x 487 mm.
  2. Exclusive Cardboards (Ispira 360 g/m²):
    • Maximum sheet size: 330 mm x 350 mm.

Technological Notes

  • Double-sided lamination is required for Liquid Gold/Silver and selective UV varnish.
  • Personalization is not available for Liquid Gold/Silver or selective UV varnish technologies. 

How to prepare files for printing on mass-colored cardboard

Project sizes

Prepare the project in the size of the ordered item +2mm bleed on each side.

Preparation of the work

Prepare the project as for digital printing.
