Prototypes are printed using digital technology and are not intended for color approval. They are used solely to assess whether the box folds correctly, has sufficient rigidity, and whether the design is properly fitted to the dieline. Due to differences in printing technology, colors in offset printing may differ from the prototype. Choosing the prototype option suspends order processing until it is approved by the Customer. The cost of shipping the prototype is borne by the Customer.

A classic, elegant box with universal application. Thanks to its simple shape and large printing surfaces, it excellently showcases products and highlights the brand's visual identity. The version with a glued flap allows for secure packaging of the contents, ensuring an aesthetic and durable closure.

The contemporary market demands packaging that not only protects the product but also builds brand image – from elegant premium boxes, through practical gadget packaging, to aesthetic solutions for the food, cosmetic, gadget, or HoReCa industries.

Our boxes are an economical and convenient solution with the possibility of ordering from a few pieces to several thousand pieces.  

We offer cardboard boxes with printing, produced on GC1 boards and on decorative papers with a weight of 200–400 g/m². These are lightweight materials, mostly smooth and excellent for printing, ideal for small and medium packaging. Due to the properties of the cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approx. length/width 150-180mm, height 50-90mm. If too large or small dimensions are introduced, the calculator will inform you.  

Application

Ideal for packaging cosmetics, supplements, pharmaceuticals, office supplies, and any products requiring closure after packaging. It also performs excellently in the HoReCa industry. 

Packaging is the first encounter a Client has with your brand, it should say more than a thousand words. Printed cartons highlight the brand's character, distinguish the product, and build a positive Client experience – from the first glance to the final choice.

Technical parameters of tuck-in boxes / glued flaps

Box construction

Construction glued on one side, delivered flat for further self-assembly. No locks – closing is done by self-sealing the flaps after folding and placing the product inside, using glue/tape or a printed label. To increase the strength of the bottom, the inner lower flaps can be additionally glued before packing the product. After assembly, the box forms a regular cuboid shape and provides full protection for the contents. Thanks to the simple folding system, it is suitable for fast co-packing/packing. This box model corresponds to the standard construction found in the industry catalog: FEFCO 0227

Printing technology

The calculator supports two types of printing technology: digital printing on Ricoh Pro C9210 and offset printing on Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52-4 Anicolor. Both technologies ensure high printing precision, and the calculator itself enables comparison of both technologies in terms of available finishing and enhancement options. This allows the user to match the technology to the specifics of the order, taking into account requirements for quantity and type of finishing.

Varnishing: selective UV varnish, 3D varnish

Metallic finishes: Liquid Gold, Liquid Silver

Cutting options

Plotter cutting – for low runs for short and medium series (without repeats), test batches or prototypes.

Die-cutting – for medium (with repeats) and high runs, ensures fast and economical production of a larger number of copies.

Delivery

Tuck-in boxes / glued flaps are delivered flat, glued on one side. Lids for self-assembly or sealing with a printed label, which can be ordered in the label calculator. 

How to prepare a file for die-cutting/box cutting   

Box layout

Our online generator automatically creates a layout after entering the internal dimensions of the box in the form. The layout file can be downloaded by clicking the “Download layout” button located on the right side of the calculator.
After downloading the PDF file, remove all unnecessary descriptions and dimensions, then place the layout centrally on a page with dimensions corresponding to the layout format – including bleed.

File preparation

The finished design should be saved as a multi-page file (PDF):

pages 1-2: single or double-sided box graphics, without cutting lines. The file should be prepared in the box format plus 3mm bleed on each side.

On separate pages, the grid and masks for enhancement (if selected).

3D visualization of the project online (available for selected models)

After entering the box dimensions in the form, a three-dimensional view is automatically generated to scale. 
The “Design online” button also allows creating a 3D visualization of the box with the finished graphic design. To see the visualization of your project, upload the file by clicking the “Upload project” button. The project can also be applied to the inside of the box to simulate double-sided printing.
After uploading the project and fitting it to the grid, you can switch the view to 3D, where the box can be rotated and viewed from every side, as well as simulate its opening.

The box visualization can be used as a form of product presentation for the client, creating screenshots from different angles and at various stages of opening the box.

The application also allows for the quick creation of simple graphic elements directly online. This feature is auxiliary – it is mainly used for testing and better understanding of the box construction.
Currently, it is not possible to print a project created in the online editor.
