Prototypes are printed using digital technology and are not intended for color approval. They are only used to assess whether the box folds correctly, has the appropriate rigidity, and whether the design is properly aligned with the die-cut. Due to differences in printing technology, colors in offset printing may differ from the prototype. The option to create a prototype holds the execution of the order until it is approved by the Client.

Clasp Box

The clasp box is a practical and aesthetic packaging with a design that allows for quick, glue-free assembly. The characteristic side locking flaps ensure a secure closure, keeping the box in shape and well-protecting its contents. This type of packaging is suitable both as an individual product box and as part of a larger presentation set. Full-color printing allows the packaging appearance to match the brand's visual identity, and appropriate finishing (matte, gloss, or soft touch film) emphasizes the professional character of the whole.

Our boxes are an economical and convenient solution with the possibility of ordering from a few pieces to several thousand pieces.  

We offer cardboard boxes with printing, produced on GC1 boards and on decorative papers with a weight of 200–400 g/m². These are lightweight materials, usually smooth and excellent for printing, ideal for small and medium packaging. Due to the properties of the cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approx. length/width 150-180mm, height 50-90mm. If too large or small dimensions are introduced, the calculator will inform you.  

Application

Ideal for packing lightweight products, office accessories, small cosmetics, corporate gifts, or promotional materials. Thanks to the ability to be closed multiple times, it is also suitable as a display or trial packaging. In the version with printing and finishing, it is an elegant alternative to classic glued boxes. 

Packaging is the first encounter a Customer has with your brand, it should say more than a thousand words. Printed cartons emphasize the brand's character, distinguish the product, and build a positive Customer experience – from the first glance to the final choice.

Technical Parameters of Clasp Boxes

Box Construction

Non-glued construction, folded by bending the side walls and inserting the flaps into special cuts forming a clasp lock. Once assembled, the box maintains its shape without the need for gluing, and the top cover with an overlapping flap allows for repeated opening and closing. The clasp system stabilizes the sides, increasing the rigidity of the packaging while maintaining a low cardboard weight.

Printing Technology

The calculator supports two types of printing technologies: digital printing on Ricoh Pro C9210 and offset printing on Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52-4 Anicolor. Both technologies ensure high printing precision, and the calculator itself allows for comparison of both technologies in terms of available enhancement and finishing options. This enables the user to match the technology to the specifics of the order, taking into account the requirements for print run and type of finish.

Varnishing: selective UV varnish, 3D varnish

Metallic finishes: Liquid Gold, Liquid Silver

Personalization

There is also the possibility of personalizing the print with variable data.

Cutting Options

Plotter cutting – for low volumes for short and medium series (without repetitions), test batch or prototype.

Die-cutting – for medium (with repetitions) and high volumes, ensuring fast and economical production of a larger number of copies.

Delivery

Clasp boxes are delivered flat. 

Recommendations/Notes

  • We recommend laminating prints on coated papers due to the possibility of cracking on creases. 
  • Due to the properties of the cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approximately 140 mm in height, 60 mm in width, and 120 mm in length.
