They are only used to assess whether the box folds correctly, has the appropriate rigidity, and whether the design is properly aligned with the die-cut. Due to differences in printing technology, colors in offset printing may differ from the prototype. Our boxes are an economical and convenient solution with the possibility of ordering from a few pieces to several tens of thousands of pieces.  

We offer cardboard boxes with print, produced on GC1 boards and on decorative papers with a weight of 200–400 g/m². These are lightweight materials, usually smooth and excellent for printing, ideal for small and medium packaging. Due to the properties of the cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approx. length/width 150-180mm, height 50-90mm. If dimensions are introduced that are too large or too small, the calculator will inform you.  

Application

Hexagonal boxes are well-suited for packaging sweets, gifts, cosmetics, and premium products that require an extraordinary presentation and decorative character of the packaging. By making an additional hole on the top flap, they can serve as cans/piggy banks.

Packaging is the first encounter the Client has with your brand, it should say more than a thousand words. Printed cartons emphasize the brand's character, distinguish the product, and build a positive Client experience – from the first glance to the final choice.

Box construction

The construction is glued on one side. The box forms a hexagonal cross-section, which makes it stand out with its unusual shape. Both the top and bottom flaps are closed with a lock. This means the box does not require additional gluing during assembly, and when closed, it maintains an aesthetic and regular shape.

Printing technology

The calculator supports two types of printing technologies: digital printing on Ricoh Pro C9210 and offset printing on Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52-4 Anicolor. Both technologies ensure high printing precision, and the calculator allows comparison of both technologies in terms of available enhancement and finishing options. This allows the user to match the technology to the specifics of the order, taking into account the requirements for the print run and type of finishing.

Lamination: matte, glossy, Soft-Touch

Varnishing: selective UV varnish, 3D varnish

Metallic finishes: Liquid Gold, Liquid Silver

Personalization

There is also the possibility of personalizing the print with variable data.

Cutting options

Plotter cutting – for low volumes for short and medium series (without repetitions), test batch or prototype.

Die-cutting – for medium (with repetitions) and high volumes, ensuring fast and economical production of a larger number of copies.

Delivery

Hexagonal boxes are delivered flat, glued on one side. 

Recommendations/notes

  • We recommend laminating prints on coated papers due to the possibility of cracking on creases. 
  • Due to the properties of the cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approx. length/width 150-180mm, height 50-90mm.
