Prototypes are printed using digital technology and are not intended for color approval. They are only used to assess whether the box folds correctly, has the appropriate rigidity, and whether the design is properly aligned with the die-cut. Due to differences in printing technology, colors in offset printing may differ from the prototype. The option to create a prototype holds the execution of the order until it is approved by the Client.

It works perfectly for both commercial and gift applications — it can be used to pack promotional products, corporate sets, sweets, or advertising materials. The flat, wide surface of the lid is an ideal place for printing a logo or graphic, creating a package with a professional, refined appearance. After applying a company print and finishing with a matte or glossy foil, the box gains a modern, premium character.

Our boxes are an economical and convenient solution with the possibility of ordering from a few pieces to several thousand pieces.  

We offer cardboard boxes with print, produced on GC1 cartons and on decorative papers with a weight of 200–400 g/m². These are lightweight materials, usually smooth and excellent for printing, ideal for small and medium packaging. Due to the properties of the cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approx. length/width 150-180mm, height 50-90mm. If dimensions are too large or too small, the calculator will inform you about it.

An excellent choice for the gastronomy industry, but also for elegant packaging of gadgets, promotional materials, textiles, or gift sets. It works perfectly for both commercial and gift applications — it can be used to pack promotional products, corporate sets, sweets, or advertising materials.

Technical Parameters of PIZZA Type Die-Cut Boxes

Box Construction

Non-glued construction. The box consists of a single sheet integrated with the lid, eliminating the need for gluing and facilitating folding. The lid overlaps the sides, creating an aesthetic and stable closure that adheres well and protects the contents from accidental opening. The side walls are additionally folded inward, which strengthens the construction and gives it a regular shape. Once folded, the box maintains an even form, making it ideal for packing lightweight products and elegant gift sets. This box model corresponds to the standard construction found in the industry catalog: FEFCO 0426

Printing Technology

The calculator supports two types of printing technologies: digital printing on Ricoh Pro C9210 and offset printing on Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52-4 Anicolor. Both technologies ensure high printing precision, and the calculator allows comparison of both technologies in terms of available enhancement and finishing options. This enables the user to match the technology to the specifics of the order, considering the requirements regarding print run and type of finish.

Varnishing: selective UV varnish, 3D varnish

Metallic finishes: Liquid Gold, Liquid Silver

Personalization

There is also the possibility of personalizing the print with variable data.

Cutting Options

Plotter cutting – for low print runs for short and medium series (without repetitions), test batch or prototype.

Die-cutting – for medium (with repetitions) and high print runs, ensuring fast and economical production of a larger number of copies.

Delivery

Pizza type die-cut boxes are delivered flat. 

Recommendations/Notes

  • We recommend laminating prints on coated papers due to the possibility of cracking on creases. 
  • Due to the properties of cardboard, the maximum dimensions of the packaging are approximately 140 mm in height, 60 mm in width, and 120 mm in length.
